I admit, I can’t compete with the current St. Blog’s craze of giving three quotes from literature to describe myself. I love to read and I read a lot when I was younger, but right now unless it’s the news, cook books, or a children’s text, I haven’t read it for a while!

Nonetheless…I found these quotes about sleep that seemed appropriate.

If you can’t sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there worrying. It’s the worry that gets you, not the lack of sleep. ~Dale Carnegie

No day is so bad it can’t be fixed with a nap. ~Carrie Snow

People who say they sleep like a baby usually don’t have one. ~Leo J. Burke

Sleep is a symptom of caffeine deprivation. ~Author Unknown

Consciousness: that annoying time between naps. ~Author Unknown

Then there’s one of my all time favorite lines from a book!
“You got nothing coming, and what you got coming ain’t nothing nice!” Jimmy Lerner

and then this quote from C.S. Lewis that Julie at the Happy Catholic posted and I totally can relate to!!

“We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be.”
C.S. Lewis
