Spread the love

I’m going to hold my husband a little closer at night and let him know that I love him.
I’m going to make sure I tell him I love him before he goes out the door in the morning.
I’m going to try to overlook the little hairs in the sink after he shaves.
I’m not going to complain when I have to look for things up high- where only someone over 6 feet tall would put them!

From now on…
I’m going to try to pray for my husband more.
I’m going to try to encourage him when he teaches PSR, coaches the kids’ soccer, or let’s Noah tell him a long drawn out story that would only be of interest to another 10-year-old.
I’m going to praise him when he paints his 3-year-old daughter’s toenails.

From now on…
I’m going to try to make sure that his sock drawer doesn’t empty.
I’m going to try to enjoy the smell of his shirts as I toss them in the washer.

From now on…
I’m going to try to act like I feel protected and financially secure even when I know that’s not necessarily the case. Fretting won’t make it any better.
I’m not going to argue about stupid things like not keeping his cell phone charged or coming home late without calling first.

From now on…
I’m going to cherish the times we have more and not count so much on the years ahead, because there might not be years ahead, but I do have now.
