High School Literature

I am having a lot of trouble finding a list of “must read” high school literature! It’s a little surprising. I was sort of expecting to find a list of books that is sort of considered a mandatory part of a good high school education!

I did find two lists that look promising

this one from a Catholic high school.

I’m also thinking of using Father Hardon’s Catholic Lifelong reading plan.

I don’t want to overwhelm Sam, but I want him to come out of high school thoroughly prepared for college or whatever else he might decide to pursue!
