Outside My Window

I am Thinking

about how difficult it is to get back into the full swing of fall and school and everything that goes along with that. In addition to Rosie’s schooling and activities, and Miss C. doing 1st-grade work, I also have to get two classes ready for the co-op, get my dog to the vet, and prepare for an out-of-town destination wedding next month. I’m starting to feel a little frazzled!

And then I stop to think, this week is the memorial of 9/11 – and life gets a little bit of perspective to it.

I am thankful…

To these survivors and family members for sharing the stories of their loved ones with us as we remember the events of 9/11. Guideposts on Youtube has some powerful videos on this topic.

I am going…

  • To give my dog tranquilizers for 2 1/2 days in preparation for her visit to the vet – which I have to do in order to board her next month to go to the wedding. So far she seems a lot more mellow. I hope all goes well at her visit!
  • Go to two cross country meets – maybe.
  • Prepare for my General Science class and Intro to Logic.
  • Intermittent fasting four days a week, – but on on Co-op day because my stomach rumbles too much!
  • Get back to regular flute practice and
  • Working out on my elliptical at least four days a week especially if I am not walking.
  • Watch The Man in the Red Bandana.
