Outside my window
It’s raining…again.

I am thinking…
how hard this must be for my mom to be stuck in bed, in pain, knowing that she has cancer, but not being well enough to get up and do anything. I have been hospitalized before and I know how much I always looked forward to visitors. I imagine now being in the nursing home/rehab facility must be even harder for her, and I am determined to get over there as much as I can.

I am thankful for… having little kids who can come with me to help cheer up grandma.

From the learning rooms…well I actually CLEANED UP THE LEARNING ROOM. I had been meaning to get in there for weeks and I finally just did it. And I’m going to do something drastic – I am going to put a lock on the door so that only kids with my permission can get in there, at least until they learn that the floor is not a garbage can!

From the kitchen… turkey roll ups!

I am wearing…I’m still in my nightgown, but I have to go to a funeral this morning so I will be getting dressed shortly.

I am creating… a new writing experience for my kids. We start the nature journalling class today over on Bravewriter.

I am going… to try to walk or exercise every day. Last week I had two long walks. Yesterday I am going to count as an exercise day because I did a ton of cleaning including mopping floors.

I am hoping… to get the kids back into the school schedule!

I am hearing… my usual buzz. It was interesting though that the days after I had done some fitness walking, my ears didn’t buzz. I wonder what the connection is?

Around the house…Finish spring cleaning of the downstairs and basement.

A few plans for the rest of the week:Keep up with my typing, work in some exercise, deep clean the house.
