Outside my Window…It is beautiful out! Freakishly blue sky with golden leaves. And that tree still hangs on to its leaves!

I am thinking…about the election. I am praying hard for God’s will, and hoping for a McCain/ Palin victory, while at the same time thinking about what life will be like if the unthinkable happens.

From the learning rooms…Sam and I are going to study the Revolutionary War. Sam needs to finish that DVD and then we are moving on to the post-Revolution years. The other kids and I are reading Johnny Tremain as a group, and then starting On The Banks of Plum Creek for our reading lessons.

I am thankful for…having had the opportunity to know and love so many people in my lifetime who have passed on. I remembered all of them at our Cemetery mass yesterday and we are saying special prayers for them all during the month of November.

From the kitchen…Chicken and stuffing with a side salad.

I am wearing…sweat pants and my favorite hoodie.

I am reading…

I am hoping… to get Sam started on Moby-Dick

I am hearing…Sam, Preston and Gabe sing and goof around in the kitchen.

Around the house… finishing my transcription and watching the news tonight.

One of my favorite things…I love visiting the cemetery, I love the cemetery mass, I love remembering our dead relatives and friends.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…just get through tomorrow!!!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…
This is Noah running with all of his might towards the finish line of the championship cross country meet. He told me afterward that while he was making that last spring, he was thinking that he could not possibly move his body any faster. He had hit the very limit of what he was capable of. He had given it 110%.
