A notable week for my little experiment of a blog. Today My Domestic Church turns 3 years old. It also finally had its 100,000 page view. Kind of neat.

Long time readers might remember that Mr. Pete took me out for a steak dinner when I hit 5000 page views. We’re so busy now I don’t know if we will have a chance to go celebrate this weekend. All along it has kind of amazed him that anyone besides me would read what I write anyway! I think he gets a kick out of how long I have kept at it and how may views I do get. He’s proud of me and that’s nice.

The best part of blogging for me has been the sense of community from my friends in St. Blogs and also in the homeschooling community. I’d be reluctant to quit now because I know I would miss that. It’s also nice to have a place to express my feelings, even if others disagree with it, or no one reads it. Just getting it out I think is one of the primary reasons people start blogs.

Thanks to all of you who come by here regularly. Most of you don’t comment, but I know you’re there and I thank you just for that.
