This is where I spent my morning! Calvin swam in the 500 free style, heat 4. Here he is at the top of the screen, second lane, about to dive in. He ended up winning his heat and came in 18th over all. But the most fantastic part is he beat his own time, coming in well under 6 minutes (his old record) to 5: 32. If you know anything about swimming, that is just phenomenal to shave that many seconds off of your time in a matter of weeks! We were so happy for him. He actually has a shot now at going to districts!
