Outside my window

fall2010 340
This is how it looked outside pretty much all weekend.  Kind of overcast, but not too cold.

I am thinking…
about how busy the month of September was! and we got through it still with only two drivers.  It was rough but I managed to get everyone everywhere they needed to be.  Hopefully the car Pete is fixing up for Sam will be ready very soon  – which of course will bring its own share of worries.

I am thankful …
that we learned about the College Plus program. It’s funny how things like this fall into our laps when we need them too.  Truly providential!

From the learning rooms
Sam is starting no his work for College Plus.  He has some speed reading assignments to do and also a course to help him study more effeciently.  He also has to finish Algebra 2 final exam.  Gabe needs to put more time in his math program ALEKS and start Saxon Algebra 1/2 . He is also learning a piece on the conga drums to be played with the choir at Christmas time – tht should be unusual!  I am starting Training Wheels Kindergarten with Rosie.  Reading and writing with Izzy and Gabe and Noah will start reading
Robinson Cruso as well as Rosetta Stone Latin.

From the kitchen…
Chicken and noodles today!

I am wearing…
Black pants and one of my favorite black tops

I am remembering:
Mama- always

I am creating…
Some more craft angels with my girls. We are also winding down the cross country season.

I am going…
to get back on track with my fitness program.  Fell off the wagon last week!
I am reading…
a book about how the recession started with the housing boom – but the name totally escapes me!

I am hoping…
to actually work my schedule next week- which means getting bed around 10!

I am hearing…
the humm of the air conditioner, which I still have plugged in

Around the house…
keeping order!
