My Spring Reading List!

After the heavier reading of Lent, I thought I'd like to continue some inspirational spiritual reading through the Easter season as well.

Here's my book list!

Three to Get Married - Fulton Sheen
The Little Oratory

This Homeschool Catholic Mom's Mother's Day Wish List!

I've been out of town and away from my computer for the past couple of days, so Mother's Day is kind of creeping up on me. In fact, it kind of shocked me to see that it's this Sunday!

And if I'm surprised, I'm pretty sure so are my kids and Mr. Pete.
So here's a list for them and if there's something on here that will would benefit you, feel free to share my list!

Not an affiliate, just a fan.

Because I have arthritis in my knee I have to be careful about what shoes I wear. I bought these a few weeks ago and LOVED THEM.  They did come from China so they took a few weeks to arrive, but it was well worth it! Another pair in black would be perfect!

Catholic Sistas planner pages. I usually buy the Whole Enchilada PDF that has all of the planners in it for printing. BUT if Mr. Pete wanted to get me one of the printed planners, not gonna lie, I would LOVE that!

The printed planners are great though too because I hate scratching stuff off and if I have to, I can just print another page. I can also print off calendar pages for Rosie with no other charge, so that's great too!

I just 3-whole punch my pages and put them in a nice 3-ring binder with a pretty picture in front. Then I have a nice calendar that's personalized and works for me!

  • Some cute workout shirts for summer days walking the trail would be awesome!

  • Putting your photos on canvas to give that keepsake feel could be a nice gift. Calvin did that with some of his wedding pictures for his wife and they look amazing!Keep your memories on canvas - they're having a Mother's Day Sale this week too!

  • A Laminator!   For hundreds of little projects and homeschool things, especially now that I'm homeschooling a first grader again!

  • I could use a New Kindle. I have two Kindles. One is about five years old and the other is about three. My daughters have taken over both of them!  They listen to audiobooks for school and read along on these devices. I'd just like to have my OWN!

  • And to go with it, an Audible Subscription would be great! We listened to two books on our recent drive out to Oklahoma, both from my Audible. These were books I had previously purchased, so even though I am no longer a subscriber, I can still access the books. But I sure wouldn't mind loading up on some more for the summer!

  • If Mom wants a laptop, I recommend Lenovo laptop. I've had mine for about a year now. It once fell out of the van when I opened the door and smashed into the pavement. Other then a little chip in the trim, it worked fine. When I did have a problem with it I sent it in and got it back within a week. I use mine all the time with my co-op classes and I highly recommend it.
  •  Also the Prime Pantry would be great, especially for some of my gluten free/Paleo items that I need for my diet.

Happy Mother's Day!
