I remember getting ready to start the high school years with my kids. I had boxes full of their work, portfolios full of worksheets, reports and lists going back to their very first years. But I wondered how all of that would change for high school. What would I need to keep and record for my child’s high school transcript, and how could I make a proper high school record that he could use for college or anything other opportunity.

Maybe some of you have those same questions questions about homeschooling high school?

Homeschooling high school resources

The questions darkened my mind as I lay awake many nights.

 Questions such as …

How do you keep records?
What subjects do you need to cover each year?
Can you award a high school diploma?
How can you get your child into college?
and if you can get your kid into college, how can you get financial aid for college?
So many questions!

I found the answer to my homeschool high school questions through Lee Binz, The HomeScholar. In searching my archives I found that I first started reading and blogging about Lee’s work as a professional homeschool high school guide back in 2010.

With Lee’s Guidance from the Comprehensive Record Solution, I was able to create a comprehensive record for college admission as well as submission to the NCAA for my college athlete.
