Outside my window...
Sunset on a great lake.

I am thinking...

about the start of the school year, and all that I have to do to prepare for that! This will be Noah's last year and although he is my fourth child, he is the first one really looking at college - a new adventure for our family.

I am thankful...
for my second son Sam!  who starts a new job today in an upscale, grocery/cafe today.  This is a big step for him (and one that offers health care and benefits), and I know he will get a lot of great food industry experience.

I'm also grateful that he and Gabe are playing music again!

I have...
a chance to visit my favorite aunt this week!

In the kitchen...
I think superburgers on the grill tonight with fresh tomatoes!

I am wearing...
a gray long T-shirt that doubles as a night gown on hot summer nights.

I am reading...

I am going...
From the Learning Rooms...
We're enjoying a little bit of a break but Noah is still working on:

One of my favorite things...

    I am looking forward to...

get a chance to go on a little driving vacation this week.  Nothing too big but a chance to enjoy some nice weather and visit family and friends.

    A quote to share...

Helena Cassadine: They don't keep people like us in hell, dear, we'd end up running the place.
A quote from Luke Spencer's nemesis in honor of Tony Geary's last scene to be telecast today on GH.

    Sewing Pattern
This is the pattern of a dress I made for the first ever formal dance I ever went to with Mr. Pete.  Izzy and I are hoping to resurrect it this summer because I think it might just look great on her!
