Pentecost

People in our parish have worn red for Pentecost for a number of years. And so we did today as well. The kids usually enjoy that.

This year will be a little different for us. Calvin isn't here. But Sarah's mom contacted me through Facebook and I gave them the link for mass times where they are. Turns out the cathedral for the diocese is right there! It would be pretty cool to go to Pentecost at the cathedral I think. We'll see.

Mom is still in nursing care and I'm wondering how much longer she will be allowed to stay there before we have to make some other difficult decisions. Mama has a beautiful red dress that she would wear yearly for Pentecost. The year Izzy's first communion was on Pentecost she wore it.

And we are putting our garden in today.
