Outside my window…it is really cold! Not bitter cold like yesterday, but cold enough that I feel chilled all the time.

I am thinking…That I really want to make Advent a holy and peaceful time and I want my kids to be truly living the holy anticipation of Christmas. At the same time, praise God, it’s almost over! This has been a “hold on, here we go!” type of season.

I am thankful for… that my niece and nephew were not hurt in a car accident they had yesterday. It all comes down to what’s important – it’s people, not stuff!!

From the learning rooms…We watched all of thsoe movies from last week. Most of them were pretty good, but the National Geographic presentation of Lewis and Clark was amazing! The kids loved it and I am under strict orders to look for more DVDs from national Geographic!

From the kitchen… Probably sloppy joes and a salad – also tons of Christmas cookies

I am wearing…Black pants, pink turtle neck, red sweater – very festive!

I am creating…beautiful music. I still get to play for the Children’s mass on Christmas Eve and midnight mass. I am also playing for Christmas Day – the Christmas marathon!! LOL

I am going… to be working on my new transcription account!

I am reading…The Legend of Sleepy Hollow with Sam and Tasha Tudor’s Christmas with the kids.

I am hoping…that my children will have an awe and reverence for their Catholic faith and a fond memory of their Catholic upbringing.

I am hearing…Buzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Around the house…nothing a quick pick up wouldn’t help!

A few plans for the rest of the week:Buckle down with that exercise program. I have exactly six months before the big birthday! and I am determined to be in shape for it! I did do some of the FIRM tapes last week but probably won’t get to it again until Friday.
