Vaccines and autism

I'd like to point out that between the time I had my almost-19 year old child and the time my almost 3-year-old was born, the number of required vaccines went up ALARMINGLY!

Many times I think some of this stuff is not done scientifically. Where are the long-term studies on giving all of these vaccinations to young children?

Anyway, glad to see that a small concession about the possible dangers of vaccines is being made.

  1. She'd obviously fallen behind in her immunization schedule, because there's no other reason for her to receive five shots of nine vaccines in one office visit ... at 19 mos. That's not a typical milestone for shots.

The doctor should have spaced out the shots, unless the girl was due to be enrolled in professional child care or preschool and needed them right away.
