My Spring Reading List!

After the heavier reading of Lent, I thought I'd like to continue some inspirational spiritual reading through the Easter season as well.

Here's my book list!

Little Book of Life Lessons - Mother Angelica
Three to Get Married - Fulton Sheen
The Little Oratory
Diary Sister Faustina
Getting Past Perfect - Kate Wicker

Perfectly Yourself - Matthew Kelly
Crossing the Threshold of Hope - Pope John Paul II

Stumble

A couple of months ago I was surfing the net and I came upon a blog promotion. The blogger was giving away a prize and all you had to do was put a comment in the comment section and "stumble" his blog! I was intrigued. After that I started seeing these little signs on blogs and web sites to "stumble" them. I finally decided to check it out.

Stumbleup is a tool that allows you to surf the web more efficiently. First you need to download their toolbar which only takes a few seconds. Then during the sign up procedure you let StumbleUpon know the kinds of sites you are interested in viewing. Then whenever you want to surf the net, hit the Stumble button and it will take you to a site that matches your preferences. With each site you get to decide whether you Like it, or Not. The more you participate the better Stumble becomes and deciding which sites to send you. You can also add sites that you find of interest to the Stumble repertoire. And if you ask your friends to join, you can check out new sites that they're stumbling upon as well.

I never worry about stumbling into a porn site ever. Stumble allows me to set my preferences to avoid adult sites.

Here's my StumbleUpon profile!

I take this all a step further and when I find a site that I really like through Stumble, I save it to Diigo and then it even shows up here on my blog! I can't imagine surfing aimlessly through the web ever again!

Works for Me!
