will I mention that Santa’s elf aka Mr. Pete is at work today furiously wrapping all of the Christmas presents for the kids. Then he will hide it in the back of the van until tonight. Tomorrow it will all be under the tree!

Hopefully sometime between noon and 3 o’clock we can get out to the cemetery. Since Raphael was stillborn it has been our tradition to go to the cemetery on Christmas Eve and sprinkle his grave with glitter and sing Silent Night. We also leave some little battery powered lights that will stay on all Christmas Eve. Believe it or not the cemetery is a very busy place on Christmas Eve but it’s not necessarily a sad place. There’s a lot of love out there.

My kid’s sing at 4:00 which means they have to be at church at 3:00. I am also playing my flute at the Children’s mass.

Sam sings for the first time at Christmas with the Adult Choir!!! That mass is at 10:00 so of course he has to be there at 9:15! I’m going to that mass too.

Mr. Pete is singing at 11:00 tomorrow and Gabe is serving, but I get to stay home with my other kids and make a turkey dinner.

A very busy and smelly little girl is on nudging my arm right now for a diaper change and a snuggle so I ‘ve got to run. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
