Over the river and through the woods – maybe!

It looks like our annual Thanksgiving Day Feast may be in jeopardy.   First off, the baby is sick – again.  Another ear infection, cough, runny nose, fever, and no sleep.  Tuesday night to Wednesday morning I was up 22 hours in a row.

Secondly, we have gotten tons of snow.  Now we usually celebrate at my gracious sister’s house.  She makes the turkey and the hot sides.  We bring the pies and the salads.  So if we can’t get there (about a 30 minute trip with good roads!) it looks like both of our meals are going to be rather lopsided!!

But it always works out one way or another doesn’t it.  I have much to be thankful for this year, particularly for my beautiful new baby daughter, but also for the rest of my wonderful children, my patient and caring husband, my gentle mother, my gorgeous sister and her family, and my dear friends and extended family.   I also feel very grateful for the St. Blogs community and my readers.  May all of you have a Blessed Thanksgiving Day!
